My draft is above/below the word count the client requested. What do I do now?

For content creation projects, the client will specify the word count that they require. It’s important to stick to the client’s requested word count as closely as possible. If you think that a text will need to be longer or shorter than the customer has requested, contact the client via the platform and propose this to them. Always adhere to the word count in the briefing, unless the client has given you permission to write a shorter or longer text than originally planned. Still not sure what to do?
