What is the difference between a local bank transfer and a wire transfer?

- Local bank transfer: This refers to local payment routes that involve direct transfers between banks within a specific 'domestic zone'. The IBAN zone is an example of a domestic zone, allowing direct transfers from one IBAN account to another. This type of transfer is commonly known as a SEPA transfer. This is the fastest payment method and should be selected if available for your country.

- Wire transfer: The SWIFT system is used for wire transfers that take place outside our domestic zone. This payment method should only be chosen if it’s the only option offered to you during the registration process.

The payment methods available depend on the country where your bank account is held.

- Local Bank Transfer / SEPA Transfer: This is the fastest and most economical payment method and should be selected if available for your country.

- Wire Transfer: This payment method should only be selected if it’s the only option offered to you during the registration process.
